If there is a way to edit the achievements in the save file and make the game properly recognise that I donated everything and give me the achievement and Stardrop, would someone please explain how I can do that? If you know how, could you please write out exactly what I need to add or change and tell me exactly where I should be making that change? I really don't want to have to start a new game I want to complete this file because I like my farm a lot and don't want to have to start again. I installed Sublime Text Editor, installed Package Control, and installed the two packages the Wiki tells you to. I've backed it up in a separate folder in case I mess up. So, now I wonder if I can fix it by editing my save file.

I have since uninstalled SMAPI and defaulted my Steam launch options to make the game unmodded again, and tried loading the game without mods to see if that fixed it. However, I didn't get the in-game achievement or Stardrop it's like Gunther didn't register that I donated everything. I've checked my collections tab against the ones on the wiki and everything shows as collected. The items show as collected in my collections tab and if I visit the museum they appear in the collection. I didn't get the achievement or Stardrop. I found them and donated them to the museum.

After nearly eight in game years I just wanted to hurry up and find the last three artifacts (elvish jewelry, golden mask, and ancient sword) so I used a mod to make more spots to dig. I used the Increased Artifact Spots Mod ( ). I used a mod to generate more Artifact spots to dig up. I'm not sure if the mod I used broke my game or the game bugged out on its own regardless of the mod. Once I found and donated one everything worked as normal. Despite checking my collections tab and the museum collection, I somehow missed that I hadn't donated a Prismatic Shard.

Thank you for looking at my guide! Feel free to rate, comment, share, etc.EDIT: It was my mistake, not the mod. If you came to this guide just to pick the same option again, no worries! Maybe you were just seeing if this actually worked? Whatever your reason, I appreciate you sticking around ^^ Conclusion Now that you’ve done everything, close your file, launch the game, and enter your farm in Stardew Valley! After walking out of the house, the cave choice dialogue should be reset, with Demetrius happy to see you! Just like the first time, you will pick between mushrooms and bats. As with the previous step, save your file to apply these changes. This includes moving or deleting objects on your map, adding or changing items in your inventory, editing the appearance of your character, and so much more. Once all of that’s selected, delete the text and replace it with (or simply copy and paste to do the same thing). Stardew Valley Save Editor is the best mod for editing particular options in your save file. You should be right near where it says “”. Simply select that – keep holding Left Click(/Shift if using a keyboard) – and scroll all the way down to. Use the search command Ctrl + F(as discussed earlier) and type in. Don’t give up, I will explain this as well. If not, you’ll have to modify a little more text to delete the mushroom boxes as well. Step 4.5(Skip if Converting From Bats to Mushrooms!)Īs said in this step’s title, you can gladly skip if you’re switching from a bat cave to a mushroom cave. This will allow you to essentially “reset your cave choice”. Once you’re done, save the file (/press Ctrl + S) to apply these changes.ĭeleting “65” will also delete Demetrius’ cave cutscene from your save history, causing it to trigger again next time you enter. Just make sure it’s near the first “”, and delete it using the Backspace/Delete key. If you don’t, you can also search for it using Ctrl + F again. Scroll below that a bit, and you’ll see the text 65.
